Stats & Training
Sp. Atk and HP carry most of Lunatone's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Tough to catch and yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a fast 800K XP curve.
The phase of the moon apparently has some effect on its power. It’s active on the night of a full moon.
It was discovered at the site of a meteor strike 40 years ago. Its stare can lull its foes to sleep.
Lunatone Weakness
Water, Grass, Ground, Bug, Ghost, Dark, and Steel moves hit Lunatone for super-effective damage. 5 resistances help offset the weaknesses. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.

Lunatone is what you get. No evolutions, but it breeds through one egg group with no compatible partners. Hatching is average hatch time. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Lunatone is genderless and can only breed with Ditto. Part of the Mineral egg group.

Lunatone Guide
In Sword & Shield, Levitate changes the entire equation for Lunatone. The 460 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked A-Tier. Ice Beam with Power Herb is the standard set.
Levitate is what you want on Lunatone. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind.
Base 70 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Lunatone is a special attacker with base 95 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Sword & Shield, Lunatone has answers, but so do you. Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Water, Grass, and Ground-type attackers hit hardest.
