Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Fletchinder's spread. It leans mixed with Speed out front. And you'll get 2 Speed EVs per KO for it. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Fletchinder scatters embers in tall grass where bug Pokémon might be hiding and then catches them as they come leaping out.
Its territory has a radius of just over a mile. If any bird Pokémon should enter, it will show them no mercy.
Fletchinder Weakness
Type-wise, Fletchinder takes extra damage from Rock, Water, and Electric. Watch out for Rock attacks, those deal 4x damage. Ground moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. It resists 6 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely.

|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Rock |
| 2x (Weak) | Water, Electric |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Fighting, Steel, Fairy |

Scarlet & Violet Evolution
Fletchinder sits between Fletchling and Talonflame in this three-stage line. Not the final form yet. For breeding, quick to hatch with a decent partner pool via one egg group. How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Fletchinder to get Fletchling eggs easily using 47 partners from the Flying egg group. Notable egg moves include Defog, Flame Charge, Quick Guard.
Scarlet & Violet Fletchinder Best Moveset
Bulk and offense in one package. Fletchinder runs Heavy-Duty Boots for hazard immunity on every switch-in with a Modest nature, so it survives long enough to threaten with Overheat. Max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs and utility options make it hard to safely switch into.

Moves
Breeding's the move. Defog and Flame Charge give Fletchinder options it can't learn any other way, and Normal and Steel coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Overheat and Brave Bird. The egg moves push it further.

Fletchinder Guide
At 382 BST, Fletchinder is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Talonflame before bringing it to any serious fight.
In Scarlet & Violet, Fletchling evolves into Fletchinder at level 17. Fletchinder evolves into Talonflame at level 35. Fletchinder is a middle-stage evolution in the Fletchling line.
Flame Body is the go-to ability for Fletchinder. It has a 30% chance of burning attacking Pokémon on contact. Its hidden ability Gale Wings can work in specific setups.
Fletchinder is leaning toward the physical side (base 73 Attack). Fragile, can't afford to take many hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 84 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. Fits the support role.
