Type-wise, Mr. Mime takes extra damage from Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Filter reduces SE moves damage, further improving the defensive spread. Mr. Mime's special bulk (base 120 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
