Typhlosion Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Typhlosion. The 534 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a sweeper. Extrasensory with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Typhlosion. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Blaze) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Typhlosion worth using. With base 100 Speed, Flash Fire gives Typhlosion an edge before opponents can react.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Typhlosion is a mixed attacker with base 84 Attack and 109 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, run Extrasensory, Eruption, Earthquake, and Fire Blast on Typhlosion. Extrasensory is the most common pick at 0% usage. Eruption provides reliable STAB damage.
