Stats & Training
The stat budget goes to damage. Sp. Atk and Speed carry the offense, HP doesn't even come close. A Volcano Pokemon on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve, worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs per KO.
Said to purify lost, forsaken souls with its flames and guide them to the afterlife. I believe its form has been influenced by the energy of the sacred mountain towering at Hisui’s center.
Typhlosion Weakness
Water, Ground, and Rock moves hit Typhlosion for super-effective damage. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Flash Fire grants an additional Fire immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. With 78 HP and balanced defenses, Typhlosion can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Prediction matters here. Choice Specs means Typhlosion can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is boosted special damage with move lock. Flexible EVs with Flashfire back that up. The remaining moves prevents free switches.

How to Get Typhlosion in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon

How to Obtain Typhlosion in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon
Typhlosion Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Typhlosion. The 534 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a sweeper. Eruption with Choice Specs is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Typhlosion. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Blaze) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Typhlosion worth using. With base 100 Speed, Flash Fire gives Typhlosion an edge before opponents can react.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Typhlosion is a special attacker with base 109 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Typhlosion's hidden ability is Flash Fire. Protects against fire moves. Better than the standard options for competitive play.
