Stats & Training
The stat budget goes to damage. Sp. Atk and Speed carry the offense, HP doesn't even come close. A Volcano Pokemon on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve, worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs per KO.
Said to purify lost, forsaken souls with its flames and guide them to the afterlife. I believe its form has been influenced by the energy of the sacred mountain towering at Hisui’s center.

Scarlet & Violet Typhlosion Best Moveset
Prediction matters here. Choice Scarf means Typhlosion can't change moves after clicking, but the payoff is speed patching through item lock. Max Sp. Atk and Speed EVs with Flashfire back that up. The remaining moves prevents free switches.

How to Get Typhlosion in Scarlet & Violet
No wild encounters for Typhlosion in Scarlet & Violet. Bring Cyndaquil over from Gold, Crystal, or Legends: Arceus, then level through the stages. Each step in the chain is laid out below.
Typhlosion Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Flash Fire changes the entire equation for Typhlosion. The 534 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a sweeper. Eruption with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
Flash Fire is what you want on Typhlosion. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Blaze) work on paper but Flash Fire is what makes Typhlosion worth using. With base 100 Speed, Flash Fire gives Typhlosion an edge before opponents can react.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Typhlosion is a special attacker with base 109 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Scarlet & Violet, run Eruption, Scorching Sands, Focus Blast, and Fire Blast on Typhlosion. Eruption is the most common pick at 24% usage. Eruption provides reliable STAB damage.
