Moves List
Don't skip the egg moves. Chandelure picks up Acid and Acid Armor only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Overheat and Fire Blast while Poison and Dark coverage and more adds range.

Chandelure Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Don't let Chandelure's 520 base stat total fool you. Flash Fire is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier as a cannon. Shadow Ball with Choice Scarf is the standard set.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, watch for Starmie (Water), Excadrill (Ground), and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Chandelure. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Ghost and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Run Flash Fire on Chandelure. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Chandelure also gets Flame Body and Infiltrator, but they don't compare.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Chandelure fills the cannon role. It's a special attacker with base 145 Sp. Atk. Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, run Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Fire Blast, and Flamethrower on Chandelure. Shadow Ball is the most common pick at 0% usage. Flamethrower provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
