Trevenant Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, Natural Cure changes the entire equation for Trevenant. The 474 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker. Horn Leech with Sitrus Berry is the standard set.
No. Trevenant is not catchable in the wild. It only comes from trade-evolving Phantump. Trade needs a Game Boy Advance link cable and a second GBA running another Gen 3 game (FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald). Trade Phantump to a friend, then have them trade it back. The 2026 Switch re-release supports the same trade through local wireless on the Pokemon Center 2F Wireless Club, with no cables required.
Natural Cure is what you want on Trevenant. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Frisk, Harvest) work on paper but Natural Cure is what makes Trevenant worth using.
At base 56 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Trevenant is a mixed attacker with base 110 Attack and 65 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as an attacker.
Game Availability
Trevenant joined the series in X & Y and has been available in 7 titles so far. With 5 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
