Volcarona Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Guide

  • For Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, we rate Volcarona B-Tier: a solid option in Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire for the right team. At 550 BST, it fits the sweeper role. Quiver Dance with Lum Berry is the standard set.

  • In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, watch for Tyranitar (Rock), Starmie (Water), and Staraptor (Flying) when using Volcarona. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Tyranitar is the most dangerous since Rock moves deal 4x damage.

  • In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, run Quiver Dance, Giga Drain, Bugbuzz, and Flamethrower on Volcarona. Quiver Dance is the most common pick at 0% usage. Flamethrower provides reliable STAB damage.
