Spinda Evolutions
Spinda is what you get. No evolutions, but it breeds through two egg groups with a massive partner pool. Hatching is quick to hatch. It's got 14 egg moves worth looking into. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed Spinda easily with 181 breeding partners from the Ground and Humanshape egg groups. Pass egg moves like Assist, Baton Pass, Disable and 11 more to offspring.
B2W2 Spinda Best Moveset
60 in every stat with AbilityContrary as a hidden ability reversing all stat changes. MoveSuperpower boosts Attack and Defense instead of dropping them. The moveset runs a gimmick that catches opponents off guard once but can't sustain it at these base stats.

Moves List
Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Spinda won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 10 types means it always has an effective option. Last Resort and Double-Edge anchor the STAB core.

A small dot on the icon's corner marks the move as contact. That triggers abilities like Static, Flame Body, Rough Skin, or Iron Barbs, plus items like Rocky Helmet and Sticky Barb.
Tier (S to D)
Each move's competitive rank in RankedBoost's system. TM, Egg, and Tutor sort by tier by default (best first). On Level-Up, click the Tier header to do the same.
PWR (Power)
Base damage. Numbers shown in a type color include STAB (base × 1.5). Hover any colored number to see the math.

No two Spinda have the same pattern of spots. Its tottering step fouls the aim of foes.
Spinda Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, watch for Machamp (Fighting) when using Spinda. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
In Black 2 & White 2, Spinda has niche appeal at best. 360 base stats means you're fighting uphill by mid-game. There are better Normal Pokemon available.
In Black 2 & White 2, Don't let Spinda's 360 base stat total fool you. Contrary is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it D-Tier. Sucker Punch with Toxic Orb is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Run Contrary on Spinda. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Spinda also gets Own Tempo and Tangled Feet, but they don't compare.
In Black 2 & White 2, Spinda's hidden ability is Contrary. Inverts stat changes. Better than the standard options for competitive play.
