200 Sp. Def absorbs special hits at one of the highest levels available. 100 Sp. Atk with Ice TermStab provides moderate offense. But 50 Speed acts last against everything relevant, and Ice typing carries four common weaknesses that the physical side at 100 Defense cannot cover. The moveset absorbs specials and retaliates slowly. D-tier through special bulk undermined by typing.

In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Regice is a Legendary Pokemon rated B-Tier. At 580 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a tank. Ice Beam with Assault Vest is the standard set.
Regice is a static encounter at Alola Ultra Space Wilds in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Regice appears at level 60. Prerequisite: LIMITED. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Regice's biggest threats include Charizard (Fire), Hitmonlee (Fighting), and Tyranitar (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Steel-type attackers are also a problem. Regice has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Clear Body is the go-to ability for Regice. It prevents stats from being lowered by other Pokémon. Its hidden ability Ice Body can work in specific setups.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Regice fills the tank role. It's a special attacker with base 100 Sp. Atk. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
