Stats & Training
Everything pushes toward mixed damage here. Swanna's Speed does the work, Defense pays the price. But you're still getting 2 Speed EVs per KO. Tough to catch, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
Despite their elegant appearance, they can flap their wings strongly and fly for thousands of miles.
Swanna start to dance at dusk. The one dancing in the middle is the leader of the flock.
Swanna Weakness
Electric and Rock moves hit Swanna for super-effective damage. Electric hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. The Water/Flying typing picks up 5 resistances to work with.

Swanna Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Swanna works as a pivot with 473 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon's meta. Surf with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Raikou (Electric) and Aerodactyl (Rock) when using Swanna. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Raikou is the most dangerous since Electric moves deal 4x damage. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Keen Eye prevents accuracy from being lowered. That's the one you want on Swanna. Hydration is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Big Pecks works too if your team needs something different.
Swanna is a mixed attacker with base 87 Attack and 87 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 98 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. Fits the pivot role.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Surf, Bravebird, Tailwind, and Liquidation on Swanna. Surf is the most common pick at 12% usage. Surf provides reliable STAB damage.
