Where To Find Gimmighoul Chest Locations in Pokemon SV
Gimmighoul's Roaming Form CANNOT be caught in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Instead You'll come across the roaming form during your travels, often perched atop large rocks or ruins, or on signs. Interacting with a roaming form will net you a number of Gimmighoul Coins and have got a 50% chance of respawning each day. The number of coins is usually low, for example 1 or 2, but if you're lucky it can be as high as 200.
Chest Form Gimmighoul can be battled and caught and has a 5% chance of respawning. Upon defeating the Chest Form, you will generally receive 50-60 Gimmighoul Coins, but occasionally your haul could be as many as 777 coins if you're lucky. After you have collected 999 Gimmighoul coins, you can level up Gimmighoul and you'll be able to evolve it into Gholdengo.
