Pokemon Legends Arceus Mystery Gift Guide

Players who have Purchased Pokemon Legends: Arceus before May 9, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, will receive In-Game Bonuses via Internet from the Mystery Gifts feature in your game. These Mystery Gift are given based on the following:

How To Get Mystery Gifts in PLA

It will take players around 2 hours of playtime before the Mystery Gifts feature is unlocked. You will need to meet 2 requirements to unlock Mystery Gifts in PLA

Complete the Tutorial on how to catch pokemon
Requires you have 500 Research Task Points

You can obtain Research Task Points by visiting Professor Laventon in the Base Camp. After you have enough Task Points, you can talk to Captain Cyllene in the Jubilife Village. You will receive a promotion and access to Mystery Gift Feature within your menu.

If you have Save Game Data on your Nintendo Switch for Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game, you’ll be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in which you’ll have a chance to catch Shaymin Land Forme in PLA. The Request for Shaymin Sky is called, A Token of Gratitude. During the request, you will receive the Gracidea, this is used to change Shaymin's form into it's Sky Forme.

Requirements: Must have Save Game Data of Pokemon Sword or Shield on Nintendo Switch.
After viewing the game’s end credits (Post Game - Completed Main Story), head to Jubilife Village, where you can accept a Research Request for Shaymin.
Travel to Floaro Gardens, located in Obsidian Fieldlands, here you will encounter Shaymin and can battle and catch it.

If you have Save Game Data on your Nintendo Switch for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl game, you’ll be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in which you’ll have a chance to catch Darkrai in PLA. The Request for Darkrai is called, The Darksome Nightmare, the request can be obtained from Laventon's Lab.

Requirements: Must have Save Game Data of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl on Nintendo Switch.
After viewing the game’s end credits (Post Game - Completed Main Story), head to Jubilife Village, where you can accept a Research Request for Darkrai.
Go to Clamberclaw Cliffs, located in Coronet Highlands, make sure you save your game before battling Darkrai as it can be challenging.
