Weavile Evolutions
Weavile evolved from Sneasel's chain using a held item. It's a non-standard trigger, so check the details below. Breed this form to get Sneasel eggs (average hatch time). The evolution from Sneasel pushed Weavile to 510 total stats. Attack saw the largest single gain at +25. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Weavile to get Sneasel eggs easily using 218 partners from the Ground egg group. Notable egg moves include Assist, Avalanche, Bite and 13 more.
USUM Weavile Best Moveset
120 Attack at 125 Speed makes Weavile one of the fastest physical attackers in the format. Dark/Ice TermStab hits Dragon, Psychic, Ghost, Flying, and Ground super-effectively. MoveIce Shard adds priority. AbilityPressure burns PP. But 70/65/85 bulk means one resisted hit still threatens. The moveset holds A-tier through offensive Speed and type coverage that threatens most of the format.

Moves List
Without breeding, Weavile misses out on Assist and Avalanche. That's 16 egg moves adding depth that the base kit lacks. STAB comes from Blizzard and Foul Play, with coverage across 9 types rounding things out.

One Weavile will trip a Sandshrew and flip it over, and then another Weavile will deal the finishing blow with its sharp claws.
Thanks to its increased intelligence, scrapping over food is a thing of the past. A scratch from its claws will give you a case of frostbite!
Weavile Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Weavile works as a sweeper with 510 BST behind it. B-Tier on our list: a solid option in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon for the right team. Knock Off with Choice Band is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Hitmonlee (Fighting), Arcanine (Fire), and Heracross (Bug) when using Weavile. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Hitmonlee is the most dangerous since Fighting moves deal 4x damage. Rock, Steel, and Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. With 6 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Pressure increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. That's the one you want on Weavile. Pickpocket is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Weavile is a physical attacker with base 120 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 125 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Knock Off, Iciclecrash, Ice Shard, and Pursuit on Weavile. Knock Off is the most common pick at 0% usage. Pursuit provides reliable STAB damage.
Game Availability
Since Diamond & Pearl, Weavile has been in 13 games. Requiring an item-based evolution to obtain means it's consistently available but requires more effort than simply catching it in the wild.
