Poipole Sword & Shield Guide
At 420 BST, Poipole is firmly in pre-evolution territory. Evolve it into Naganadel before bringing it to any serious fight.
Beast Boost raises this Pokémon's highest stat by one stage when it faints another Pokémon. That's the one you want on Poipole. It's the only ability Poipole has.
Poipole is a mixed attacker with base 73 Attack and 73 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 73 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many.
In Sword & Shield, For a casual playthrough, Poipole works as a placeholder. Poison coverage is useful early. The real payoff is Naganadel. That's where the stats start mattering.
