Ground and Ghost moves don't affect Braviary at all — that's the advantage of Normal/Flying typing. Sheer Force drops secondary effects for a straight power boost. Known as the Valiant Pokemon. Built to hit on the physical side.
Raw Attack carries Braviary's bulk more than the defenses do. Sp. Atk barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A moderately hard to find Valiant Pokemon that yields 2 Attack EVs on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Known for its bravery and pride, this majestic Pokémon is often seen as a motif for various kinds of emblems.
Because this Pokémon is hotheaded and belligerent, it’s Corviknight that’s taken the role of transportation in Galar.
Braviary Weakness
GoodBraviary is weak to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type moves. On the flip side, it's immune to Ground and Ghost-type moves entirely. With 100 HP and balanced defenses, Braviary can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
Evolved from Rufflet. Braviary is the final form in this two-stage line. A decent partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. Attack grew the most through evolution (+40 over Rufflet), and Braviary peaks at 510 total stats.
How to Evolve
For a physical attacker, Braviary wants max Attack and Speed EVs and Safetygoggles. The Jolly nature tilts toward fast physical duty, and Sheerforce contributes without taking a move slot.

TMs carry this one. Braviary learns Giga Impact and Hyper Beam naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Fighting and Dark and beyond give it real matchup play.

Sheer Force changes the entire equation for Braviary. The 510 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Sheer Force is what you want on Braviary. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Keen Eye, Defiant) work on paper but Sheer Force is what makes Braviary worth using.
Base 80 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Braviary is a physical attacker with base 123 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
Braviary appears in 9 games, including Black & White, Black 2 & White 2, and X & Y.
Since debuting in Black & White, Braviary has appeared in 9 titles over 5 generations. Along the way, it received a Hisuian form in Generation 8, keeping it relevant across different competitive metas.
