In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, yes. Mega Latias is the evolved form, sitting at 700 BST. Big power spike over base Latias (600). Equip the Mega Stone and it transforms in battle.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Latias's biggest threats include Walrein (Ice), Pinsir (Bug), and Gengar (Ghost), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Dragon, Dark, and Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. With 6 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Latias has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Latias is a static encounter at Alola Ultra Space Wilds in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Latias appears at level 60. Prerequisite: LIMITED. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.
Latias gets Levitate. But Levitate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 110 Speed, Levitate gives Latias an edge before opponents can react.
