Without Dry Skin, Parasect wouldn't see any competitive play. With it? It heals from Water moves but takes extra Fire damage, turning modest base stats into a real offensive threat. Bug/Grass is solid coverage on top of that. Works well under Trick Room.
Nothing fancy in Parasect's spread. It leans physical with Attack out front. And you'll get 3 Attack and Defense EVs per KO for it. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
The bug is mostly dead, with the mushroom on its back having become the main body. If the mushroom comes off, the bug stops moving.
Its poisonous spores are also used in traditional medicine. Apparently, spores produced in Alola are not of very good quality.
