Kyurem Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Kyurem is a Legendary Pokemon rated B-Tier. At 660 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a support. Earthpower with Leftovers is the standard set.
Kyurem is a static encounter at Unova Giant Chasm in Black 2 & White 2. Kyurem appears at level 70. Prerequisite: After encountering Reshiram/Zekrom at Dragonspiral Tower. Save before the encounter. These one-shot Pokemon don't respawn if you knock them out or run out of Poke Balls.
In Black 2 & White 2, Kyurem's biggest threats include Hitmonlee (Fighting), Tyranitar (Rock), and Garchomp (Dragon), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Steel-type attackers are also a problem. Kyurem has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Pressure is the go-to ability for Kyurem. It increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. It's Kyurem's only ability.
Base 95 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Kyurem is a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a support.
Game Availability
First obtainable in Black & White, Kyurem has been featured in 8 titles across 6 generations. Legendary status means a single encounter per playthrough in most games.
