There's a reason Kyurem has stayed relevant since Gen 5. Dragon/Ice typing and sits at a decent but contested Speed tier — it checks a lot of boxes at once. Only weak to Fighting, Rock, Dragon, and Steel. Known as the Boundary Pokemon.
Raw Attack carries Kyurem's bulk more than the defenses do. Defense barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A near-impossible to catch Boundary Pokemon that yields 3 HP and Attack and Sp. Atk EVs on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
It generates a powerful, freezing energy inside itself, but its body became frozen when the energy leaked out.
It can produce ultracold air. Its body is frozen.
Kyurem Weakness
VulnerableType-wise, Kyurem takes extra damage from Fighting, Rock, Dragon, and Steel. Kyurem's overall bulk (125/90/90) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
- Fairy type does not exist — Dragon has fewer checks
- Physical / Special split now per-move (introduced Gen IV)
No breeding, no evolution. Kyurem is a Dragon/Ice legendary with 660 base stat total that you obtain once and build around.
How to Evolve
This build takes hits and hits back. Leftovers provides passive recovery each turn, Pressure supports the gameplan, and flexible EVs EVs mean Kyurem doesn't crumble to chip damage. Plus utility options backing it up.

TMs carry this one. Kyurem learns Draco Meteor and Outrage naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Rock and Normal and beyond give it real matchup play.

Kyurem doesn't evolve. As a Legendary Pokemon, it stands on its own without an evolutionary line. It's a Dragon/Ice type with 660 BST.
Pressure is the go-to ability for Kyurem. It increases the PP cost of moves targetting the Pokémon by one. It's Kyurem's only ability.
Base 95 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Kyurem is leaning toward the physical side (base 130 Attack). Defensively? Tanky enough to absorb a few hits. Best used as a support.
