Stats & Training
Nothing fancy in Seaking's spread. It leans physical with Attack out front. And you'll get 2 Attack EVs per KO for it. Follows a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
The horn on its head is sharp like a drill. It bores a hole in a boulder to make its nest.
In the autumn spawning season, they can be seen swimming powerfully up rivers and creeks.
Seaking Weakness
Seaking's Water typing leaves it vulnerable to Electric and Grass. The Water typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Lightning Rod grants an additional Electric immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. With 80 HP and balanced defenses, Seaking can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Seaking Guide
In FireRed & LeafGreen, Seaking looks average on paper at 450 BST. But Swift Swim is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier on our tier list. Surf with Liechiberry is the standard set.
Seaking gets Swift Swim, Water Veil, and Lightning Rod. But Swift Swim is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.
Seaking is a special attacker with base 65 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. At base 68 Speed, it won't be moving first often.
In FireRed & LeafGreen, run Surf, Raindance, Flail, and Substitute on Seaking. Surf is the most common pick at 16% usage. Surf provides reliable STAB damage.
