Don't let the raw stats fool you. Poison Heal heals from poison instead of taking damage, and that completely changes the math for Breloom. Watch the Flying matchup though — quadruple damage means one hit can end it. Introduced in Gen 3.
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Defense carry the offense, HP doesn't even come close. A Mushroom Pokemon on a standard growth curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
The seeds on its tail are made of toxic spores. It knocks out foes with quick, virtually invisible punches.
Breloom Weakness
FragileType-wise, Breloom takes extra damage from Flying, Fire, Ice, Poison, and Psychic. Watch out for Flying attacks, those deal 4x damage. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong.

Evolved from Shroomish. Breloom is the final form in this two-stage line. A decent partner pool for breeding via two egg groups. Eggs are quick to hatch. Attack grew the most through evolution (+90 over Shroomish), and Breloom peaks at 460 total stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Breloom to get Shroomish eggs easily using 27 partners from the Fairy and Plant egg groups. Notable egg moves include Charm, Fake Tears, False Swipe and 2 more.
This build takes hits and hits back. Leftovers provides passive recovery each turn, Effect Spore supports the gameplan, and max Attack and Speed EVs mean Breloom doesn't crumble to chip damage. Plus utility options backing it up.

Poison Heal changes the entire equation for Breloom. The 460 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a cannon.
Breloom's biggest threats include Aerodactyl (Flying), Arcanine (Fire), and Walrein (Ice), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Aerodactyl is the most dangerous since Flying moves deal 4x damage. Poison and Psychic-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Shroomish evolves into Breloom at level 23. Breloom is the fully evolved form. It sits at 460 BST in its evolved form.
Poison Heal is what you want on Breloom. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Effect Spore, Technician) work on paper but Poison Heal is what makes Breloom worth using.
Base 70 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Breloom is leaning toward the physical side (base 130 Attack). Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a cannon.
