  • We rate Omastar C-Tier — a situational pick that fills a niche. At 495 BST, it fits the support role. Base 125 Defense stands out.

  • Watch for Exeggutor (Grass), Raikou (Electric), and Machamp (Fighting) when using Omastar. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Exeggutor is the most dangerous since Grass moves deal 4x damage. Ground-type attackers are also a problem.

  • Omanyte evolves into Omastar at level 40. Omastar is the fully evolved form. At 495 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.

  • At base 55 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Omastar is a mixed attacker — base 60 Attack and 115 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a support.
