Ogerpon's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Sp. Atk trails, 5 stats clear the bar. Very hard to catch and worth 3 Attack EVs, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Ogerpon Scarlet & Violet Guide
In Scarlet & Violet, Don't let Ogerpon's 550 base stat total fool you. Water Absorb is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier as a sweeper. Ivycudgel with Choice Band is the standard set.
In Scarlet & Violet, Run Water Absorb on Ogerpon. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. With base 110 Speed, Water Absorb gives Ogerpon an edge before opponents can react.
In Scarlet & Violet, Ogerpon fills the sweeper role. It's a physical attacker with base 120 Attack. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Scarlet & Violet, run Ivycudgel, Knock Off, U Turn, and Rocktomb on Ogerpon. Ivycudgel is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
