Ground moves don't affect Flamigo at all — that's the advantage of Flying/Fighting typing. It sits at a decent but contested Speed tier. Known as the Synchronize Pokemon. The stat spread favors raw physical power.

How to Evolve
Breed Flamigo easily with 45 breeding partners from the Flying egg group. Pass egg moves like Double Team, Quick Guard, Sky Attack to offspring.
Close Combat is the safe click most turns. Choice Scarf locks Flamigo into it but rewards with speed patching through item lock. Jolly nature and max Attack and Speed EVs maximize that first hit. Scrappy helps on the margins.
