Ground moves don't affect Flamigo at all — that's the advantage of Flying/Fighting typing. It sits at a decent but contested Speed tier. Known as the Synchronize Pokemon. The stat spread favors raw physical power.
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Speed carry the offense, Sp. Def doesn't even come close. A Synchronize Pokemon on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
This Pokémon apparently ties the base of its neck into a knot so that energy stored in its belly does not escape from its beak.
Thanks to a behavior of theirs known as “synchronizing,” an entire flock of these Pokémon can attack simultaneously in perfect harmony.
Flamigo Weakness
AvgElectric, Ice, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy-type moves hit Flamigo for super-effective damage. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses.
Breeding is the whole story for Flamigo. No compatible partners through one egg group, eggs are average hatch time, and you won't need to evolve anything.
How to Evolve
Breed Flamigo easily from the Flying egg group.
Close Combat is the safe click most turns. Choice Scarf locks Flamigo into it but rewards with speed patching through item lock. Jolly nature and max Attack and Speed EVs maximize that first hit. Scrappy helps on the margins.

We rate Flamigo B-Tier — a solid choice for the right team. At 500 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Base 115 Attack stands out.
Flamigo doesn't evolve and has no evolutionary line. It's a Flying/Fighting-type Pokemon with strong stats at 500 BST — no evolution needed.
Scrappy lets the Pokémon's normal and fighting moves hit ghost Pokémon — that's the one you want on Flamigo. Costar is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Tangled Feet works too if your team needs something different.
Base 90 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Flamigo is a physical attacker with base 115 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.
Flamigo can be found in Legends: Z-A and Scarlet & Violet.
Flamigo joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 1 generation of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
