Revavroom's Steel/Poison typing gives it an immunity to Poison. Only 2 weaknesses on top of that — it has plenty of safe switch-in opportunities. One of the newer additions from Gen 9. It sits at a decent but contested Speed tier.

Revavroom's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Sp. Atk trails, 4 stats clear the bar. Moderately hard to find and worth 2 Attack EVs, on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.

It creates a gas out of poison and minerals from rocks. It then detonates the gas in its cylinders—now numbering eight—to generate energy.

Scarlet

Revavroom viciously threatens others with the sound of its exhaust. It sticks its tongue out from its cylindrical mouth and sprays toxic fluids.

Violet

Revavroom Weakness

Excellent

Type-wise, Revavroom takes extra damage from Ground and Fire. Watch out for Ground attacks, those deal 4x damage. Poison moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 9 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Filter reduces SE moves damage, further improving the defensive spread. With 80 HP and balanced defenses, Revavroom can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.

Breeding's the move. Haze and Parting Shot give Revavroom options it can't learn any other way, and Ghost and Dark coverage and more already covers a decent range on top of Steel Beam and Gunk Shot. The egg moves push it further.

or evolve from Varoom (Step 1)
  • Revavroom has a 500 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier — a solid choice for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Base 119 Attack is where it shines.

  • Revavroom's biggest threats include Golem (Ground) and Charizard (Fire), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Golem is the most dangerous since Ground moves deal 4x damage. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Varoom evolves into Revavroom at level 40. Revavroom is the fully evolved form. At 500 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.

  • Overcoat is the go-to ability for Revavroom. It protects against damage from weather. Its hidden ability Filter can work in specific setups.

  • Revavroom fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 119 Attack. Base 90 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.

  • Revavroom can be found in Scarlet & Violet.

Introduced in Scarlet & Violet, Revavroom has appeared in 1 games across 1 generation. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
