Magearna Weakness
Fire and Ground moves hit Magearna for super-effective damage. The upside? Poison and Dragon-type moves can't touch it at all. 9 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Magearna's overall bulk (80/115/115) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.

Magearna Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
For the Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon meta, At 600 BST, Magearna is built different. We rank it S-Tier. As a Mythical Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a wallbreaker. Fleurcannon with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Arcanine (Fire) and Excadrill (Ground) when using Magearna. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Magearna has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Soul Heart this Pokémon's Special Attack rises by one stage every time any Pokémon faints. That's the one you want on Magearna. It's the only ability Magearna has.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Magearna fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. At base 65 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
For Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Magearna has answers, but so do you. Status moves (Toxic, Will-O-Wisp) wear it down. Setup sweepers can use it as a boost opportunity. Physical attackers can break through.
Game Availability
As a Mythical Pokemon, Magearna has limited availability — 5 games since its debut in Sun & Moon. Typically obtained through special events or in-game quests rather than standard encounters.
