Magearna has the stats to dominate any format it's allowed in. 130 base Sp. Atk stands out, and the rest of the spread doesn't have obvious weak points either. One of the newer additions from Gen 7. Known as the Artificial Pokemon.
Magearna's spread isn't flashy. Sp. Atk leads, Speed trails, 5 stats clear the bar. Near-impossible to catch and worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs, on a slow 1.25M XP grind.

Magearna Weakness
FortressFire and Ground-type moves hit Magearna for super-effective damage. The upside? Poison and Dragon-type moves can't touch it at all. 9 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Magearna's overall bulk (80/115/115) lets it take a hit or two from most weaknesses before going down.
Mythical Pokemon don't breed, and Magearna is no exception. This Steel/Fairy type sits at 600 stats with no chain to speak of.
How to Evolve
The build revolves around Volt Switch for safe pivoting. Soulheart and Assault Vest support Magearna's hit-and-run approach, with a spread EV build EVs making sure each pivot actually threatens. The remaining moves adds versatility.
