Pokemon transfers only go forward through generations, never backward. Direct cross-gen trades aren't supported.
Latias Weakness
Latias is weak to Ice, Bug, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, and Fairy. It resists 6 types, so it can switch into a lot of moves safely. Levitate grants an additional Ground immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Latias's special bulk (base 150 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.
| Damage | Types |

| 2x (Weak) | Ice, Bug, Ghost, Dragon, Dark, Fairy |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Fighting, Psychic |

Latias Legends: Z-A Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Latias is a Legendary Pokemon rated S-Tier. At 700 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a setup sweeper. Calm Mind with Weakness Policy is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Latias does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Latias hits 800 BST.
In Legends: Z-A, Latias's biggest threats include Walrein (Ice), Pinsir (Bug), and Gengar (Ghost), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Dragon, Dark, and Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. With 6 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Latias has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Latias gets Levitate. But Levitate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 110 Speed, Levitate gives Latias an edge before opponents can react.
Latias is a special attacker with base 140 Sp. Atk. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the setup sweeper role.
Game Availability
Since Ruby & Sapphire, Latias has appeared in 16 games. Legendary Pokemon like Latias are usually found through story events or special post-game areas rather than random encounters.
