Ground is a dangerous matchup for Glimmora — quadruple damage means one hit can end things. On the flip side, it resists 6 types, so the defensive profile isn't all bad. Its damage comes from the special side. Introduced in Gen 9.

Sp. Atk and Defense carry most of Glimmora's stat budget. Attack's the obvious dump stat. Very hard to catch and yields 2 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.

Nothing fancy here. Glimmora builds around Red Card for extra utility, Timid nature for the right stat lean, and flexible EVs EVs. Toxicdebris does its job quietly.

TMs carry this one. Glimmora learns Gunk Shot and Meteor Beam naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Fairy and beyond give it real matchup play.

Tutor Moves

Glimmora can't be caught in Legends: Z-A. Transfer Glimmet from Scarlet and evolve through the 2-stage line to get it. The step cards below map the full chain.

How to Obtain Glimmora in Legends: Z-A

  1. Glimmet
    Step 1Obtain Glimmet

    Catch in the wild in:

Then trade to Legends: Z-A to continue the evolution chain.

  2. Glimmora
    Step 2Glimmora
  • We rate Glimmora A-Tier — a strong competitive pick. At 525 BST, it fits the wallbreaker role. Base 130 Sp. Atk stands out.

  • Glimmora's biggest threats include Excadrill (Ground), Greninja (Water), and Hatterene (Psychic), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Excadrill is the most dangerous since Ground moves deal 4x damage. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.

  • Glimmet evolves into Glimmora at level 35. Glimmora is the fully evolved form. At 525 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.

  • Toxic Debris is the go-to ability for Glimmora. It scatters poison spikes at the feet of the opposing team when the Pokémon takes damage from physical moves. Its hidden ability Corrosion can work in specific setups.

  • Base 86 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Glimmora is a special attacker with base 130 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a wallbreaker.

  • Glimmora can be found in Legends: Z-A and Scarlet & Violet.

Glimmora joined the series in Scarlet & Violet and has been available in 2 titles so far. With 1 generation of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
