Is Jolteon Good in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Playthrough?
Thunder Stone Eevee evolution with blistering speed. Crushes Kahili's entire Flying E4 and outspeeds nearly everything in the game. Fragile, but Electric coverage at that speed makes Jolteon one of the best Eeveelutions for the story.

Jolteon Weakness
Jolteon's Electric typing leaves it vulnerable to Ground. Its Electric typing keeps the defensive matchups simple. Volt Absorb grants an additional Electric immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Jolteon's special bulk (base 95 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

The natural movepool does the job, but Captivate and Charm from the egg pool give Jolteon something extra. Pair those with Thunder and Thunderbolt for STAB and coverage across 7 types for reach, and the kit fills out nicely.

Its lungs contain an organ that creates electricity. The crackling sound of electricity can be heard when it exhales.
Its fur stands on end, becoming like needles it fires at enemies. Once they’re weakened, it finishes them off with a 10,000 volt shock.
Jolteon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon Guide
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Don't let Jolteon's 525 base stat total fool you. Volt Absorb is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier as a sweeper. Shadow Ball with Choice Specs is the standard set.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, watch for Rhydon (Ground) when using Jolteon. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Run Volt Absorb on Jolteon. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Jolteon also gets Quick Feet, but they don't compare. With base 130 Speed, Volt Absorb gives Jolteon an edge before opponents can react.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, Jolteon fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Base 130 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, run Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, and Hiddenpowerice on Jolteon. Shadow Ball is the most common pick at 0% usage. Thunderbolt provides reliable STAB damage.
