Raw HP carries Gogoat's bulk more than the defenses do. Defense barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A tough to catch Mount Pokemon that yields 2 HP EVs on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It can sense the feelings of others by touching them with its horns. This species has assisted people with their work since 5,000 years ago.
These Pokémon live in herds in mountainous places. The victor in their contests of clashing horns will become the leader of the herd.
Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug moves hit Gogoat for super-effective damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. Sap Sipper grants an additional Grass immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.

Evolved from Skiddo. Gogoat is the final form in this two-stage line. A massive partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. HP grew the most through evolution (+57 over Skiddo), and Gogoat peaks at 531 total stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
One boost from Bulk Up and Gogoat gets dangerous fast. The Adamant nature targets max HP and Attack, and Sapsipper backs the whole approach. Bulk Up and the remaining moves handle most of what's left standing.

Sap Sipper changes the entire equation for Gogoat. The 531 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a tank.
Sap Sipper is what you want on Gogoat. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Grass Pelt) work on paper but Sap Sipper is what makes Gogoat worth using.
At base 68 Speed, it won't be moving first often. On offense, Gogoat is a mixed attacker with base 100 Attack and 97 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a tank.
