Between Sap Sipper and Grass typing, Gogoat carves out a strong competitive niche. It absorbs Grass moves and boosts its Attack, which gives it an edge most Pokemon in its stat range don't have. 5 type weaknesses to keep in mind.
Raw HP carries Gogoat's bulk more than the defenses do. Defense barely registers. But that HP pool covers for it. A tough to catch Mount Pokemon that yields 2 HP EVs on a medium-fast 1M XP curve.
It can sense the feelings of others by touching them with its horns. This species has assisted people with their work since 5,000 years ago.
These Pokémon live in herds in mountainous places. The victor in their contests of clashing horns will become the leader of the herd.
Gogoat Weakness
FragileFire, Ice, Poison, Flying, and Bug-type moves hit Gogoat for super-effective damage. 4 resistances help offset the weaknesses. Sap Sipper grants an additional Grass immunity, reshaping the matchup chart.
Evolved from Skiddo. Gogoat is the final form in this two-stage line. No compatible partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. HP grew the most through evolution (+57 over Skiddo), and Gogoat peaks at 531 total stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Gogoat to get Skiddo eggs easily from the Ground egg group. Notable egg moves include Defense Curl, Grassy Terrain, Milk Drink and 1 more.
The recommended build leans into Gogoat's strengths as an attacker. Grassiumz provides extra utility, and a spread EV build EVs back that up. Sapsipper rounds out the package.
