Stats & Training
The stat bars tell the story: Defense carries everything and Speed's dead weight. But this Rock Pokemon still yields 1 Defense stat exp per fight on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.
Most people may not notice, but a closer look should reveal that there are many GEODUDE around.
It uses its arms to steadily climb steep mountain paths. It swings its fists around if angered.
Geodude Weakness
Type-wise, Geodude takes extra damage from Water, Grass, Ice, Fighting, Ground, and Steel. Watch out for Water and Grass attacks, those deal 4x damage. Electric moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. The Rock/Ground typing picks up 5 resistances to work with. Geodude's physical bulk (base 100 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 4x (Critical) | Water, Grass |
| 2x (Weak) | Ice, Fighting, Ground, Steel |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Normal, Fire, Flying, Rock |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Poison |
| 0x (Immune) | Electric |
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move
- Special stat split into Sp.Atk and Sp.Def
