Under Trick Room, Copperajah's terrible Speed becomes its best asset — it 'outspeeds' nearly everything when turns are reversed. And it hits hard enough to make that matter. Poison moves can't touch it, and only 3 types hit it super-effectively. Known as the Copperderm Pokemon.
Copperajah's spread is anchored by Attack, with balanced defenses backing it up. Speed is the clear weak point. Worth 2 Attack EVs per KO, and the medium-fast 1M XP curve keeps leveling painless.
So much power is packed within its trunk that if it were to unleash that power, the resulting blast could level mountains and change the landscape.
After this Pokémon has Gigantamaxed, its massive nose can utterly demolish large structures with a single smashing blow.
Copperajah Weakness
ExcellentCopperajah's Steel typing leaves it vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, and Ground moves. It shrugs off Poison-type attacks completely. 10 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. With 122 HP and balanced defenses, Copperajah can afford to eat a neutral hit or two.
Copperajah is the evolved form of Cufant. Breeding produces Cufant eggs, and they're average hatch time. Evolving from Cufant gave Copperajah the biggest boost in HP (+50), bringing the total to 500 stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Copperajah to get Cufant eggs easily using 138 partners from the Ground and Mineral egg groups. Notable egg moves include Belch, Curse, Defense Curl and 5 more.
Sheerforce isn't flashy, but it matters. Combined with Metalcoat for extra utility and max Attack without Speed EVs, Copperajah fills the attacker slot reliably. Hardy nature finishes the spread.

Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Copperajah won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 11 types means it always has an effective option. Steel Roller and Iron Head anchor the STAB core.

Don't let Copperajah's 500 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick — it punches way above its weight class. We rate it C-Tier as a wallbreaker.
Watch for Infernape (Fire), Conkeldurr (Fighting), and Landorus (Ground) when using Copperajah. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. At base 30 Speed, Copperajah won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Cufant evolves into Copperajah at level 34. Copperajah is the fully evolved form. At 500 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.
Run Sheer Force on Copperajah. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Copperajah also gets Heavy Metal, but they don't compare.
Copperajah fills the wallbreaker role. It's leaning toward the physical side (base 130 Attack). Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
Copperajah can be found in Scarlet & Violet and Sword & Shield.
Copperajah first appeared in Sword & Shield and spans 2 games across 2 generations. It later gained a Gigantamax form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
