Breloom Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Poison Heal changes the entire equation for Breloom. The 460 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked B-Tier as a cannon. Mach Punch with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Breloom's biggest threats include Aerodactyl (Flying), Arcanine (Fire), and Walrein (Ice), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Aerodactyl is the most dangerous since Flying moves deal 4x damage. Poison and Psychic-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Poison Heal is what you want on Breloom. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Effect Spore, Technician) work on paper but Poison Heal is what makes Breloom worth using.
Base 70 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Breloom is a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a cannon.
For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is Mach Punch, Bullet Seed, Swords Dance, and Lowsweep. Mach Punch leads at 0% usage. This set covers the cannon role with a mix of damage and utility.
