  • Azumarill's biggest threats include Jolteon (Electric) and Exeggutor (Grass), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.

  • Marill evolves into Azumarill at level 18. Azumarill is the final evolution in a 3-stage line starting from Azurill. It sits at 420 BST in its evolved form.

  • Huge Power is what you want on Azumarill. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Thick Fat, Sap Sipper) work on paper but Huge Power is what makes Azumarill worth using.

  • Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. On offense, Azumarill is a special attacker with base 60 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
