Is Aggron Good in Legends: Z-A Playthrough?
Mega Aggron drops the Rock typing for pure Steel, cutting the weakness list dramatically. The physical Defense becomes one of the highest in the game, and Steel coverage handles Fairy encounters and Ice-types across multiple factions. Slow cooldowns mean opponents get their hits in, but almost nothing breaks through Mega Aggron's defense.

Aggron Weakness
Type-wise, Aggron takes extra damage from Fire, Fighting, and Ground. Poison moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity. 10 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Filter reduces SE moves damage, further improving the defensive spread. Aggron's physical bulk (base 230 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Aggron Legends: Z-A Guide
In Legends: Z-A, Aggron has a 630 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier: a solid option in Legends: Z-A for the right team. It works best as a wallbreaker. Bodypress with Leftovers is the standard set.
Mega Evolution isn't available in Legends: Z-A, but Aggron does have a Mega form in Gen 6-7 games (X/Y, ORAS, Sun/Moon). Mega Aggron hits 730 BST.
Filter is the go-to ability for Aggron. It decreases damage taken from super-effective moves by 1/4. It's Aggron's only ability.
In Legends: Z-A, Aggron fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 140 Attack. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
