Hypno Evolutions
Evolved from Drowzee. Hypno is the final form in this two-stage line. A decent partner pool for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. Sp.Atk grew the most through evolution (+30 over Drowzee), and Hypno peaks at 483 total stats. View every chain in the Evolution Chart.
How to Evolve
Breeding
Breed with Hypno to get Drowzee eggs easily using 28 partners from the Humanshape egg group. Notable egg moves include Assist, Barrier, Fire Punch and 3 more.
FRLG Hypno Best Moveset
115 Sp. Def absorbs special attacks solidly, and AbilityInsomnia blocks sleep moves entirely. Psychic TermStab from MovePsychic at 73 Sp. Atk is modest but functional. The moveset plays defensive Psychic with MoveThunder Wave crippling faster threats and MoveReflect shoring up the weaker physical side.

Moves List
Don't skip the egg moves. Hypno picks up Assist and Barrier only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Future Sight and Dream Eater while coverage across 7 types adds range.

A small dot on the icon's corner marks the move as contact. That triggers abilities like Static, Flame Body, Rough Skin, or Iron Barbs, plus items like Rocky Helmet and Sticky Barb.
Tier (S to D)
Each move's competitive rank in RankedBoost's system. TM, Egg, and Tutor sort by tier by default (best first). On Level-Up, click the Tier header to do the same.
PWR (Power)
Base damage. Numbers shown in a type color include STAB (base × 1.5). Hover any colored number to see the math.
