Psychic is a dangerous matchup for Toxicroak — quadruple damage means one hit can end things. On the flip side, it resists 6 types, so the defensive profile isn't all bad. Dry Skin helps compensate. Known as the Toxic Mouth Pokemon.
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Sp. Atk carry the offense, Defense doesn't even come close. A Toxic Mouth Pokemon on a medium-fast 1M XP curve, worth 2 Attack EVs per KO.
It bounces toward opponents and gouges them with poisonous claws. No more than a scratch is needed to knock out its adversaries.
It booms out a victory croak when its prey goes down in defeat. This Pokémon and Seismitoad are related species.
Toxicroak Weakness
AvgType-wise, Toxicroak takes extra damage from Psychic, Ground, and Flying. Watch out for Psychic attacks, those deal 4x damage. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong. Dry Skin grants an additional Water immunity, reshaping the matchup chart. Toxicroak leans offensive (base 106 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.
Evolved from Croagunk. Toxicroak is the final form in this two-stage line. Plenty of partners for breeding via one egg group. Eggs are average hatch time. Attack grew the most through evolution (+45 over Croagunk), and Toxicroak peaks at 490 total stats.
How to Evolve
Breed with Toxicroak to get Croagunk eggs easily using 51 partners from the Humanshape egg group. Notable egg moves include Bullet Punch, Counter, Cross Chop and 6 more.
Life Orb buys the setup turn. Toxicroak clicks Swords Dance, then starts cleaning with Drain Punch and the remaining moves. Jolly nature with max Attack and Speed EVs makes sure nothing tanks a boosted hit comfortably.

Dry Skin changes the entire equation for Toxicroak. The 490 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as an attacker.
Croagunk evolves into Toxicroak at level 37. Toxicroak is the fully evolved form. At 490 BST, it's got solid stats to work with.
Dry Skin is what you want on Toxicroak. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Anticipation, Poison Touch) work on paper but Dry Skin is what makes Toxicroak worth using.
Base 85 Speed is workable — faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Toxicroak is a physical attacker with base 106 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as an attacker.
