Mid-stage Pokemon like Scorbunny rarely see competitive play outside of special formats. It's a waypoint on the road to Cinderace, which is where the real potential kicks in. Only weak to Water, Ground, and Rock. Known as the Rabbit Pokemon.

Scorbunny's spread isn't flashy. Attack leads, Defense trails, 0 stats clear the bar. Tough to catch and worth 1 Speed EV, on a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve.

Tutor Moves

Scorbunny can't learn any Tutor moves

Scorbunny is not available as a wild encounter in this game.

This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.

  • Scorbunny isn't fully evolved, so it's not built for competitive play. You'll want to evolve it into Raboot to unlock its full potential. At 310 BST, it's a stepping stone rather than a team anchor.

  • Watch for Milotic (Water), Excadrill (Ground), and Lycanroc (Rock) when using Scorbunny. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB.

  • Scorbunny evolves into Raboot at level 16. Scorbunny is the base form in a 3-stage evolutionary line.

  • Run Libero on Scorbunny. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Scorbunny also gets Blaze, but they don't compare.

  • Scorbunny fills the balanced role. It's a mixed attacker — base 71 Attack and 40 Sp. Atk. At base 69 Speed, it won't be moving first often. And it's fragile — can't afford to take many hits.

  • Scorbunny can be found in Scarlet & Violet and Sword & Shield.

Introduced in Sword & Shield, Scorbunny has appeared in 2 games across 2 generations. Later debuts mean fewer total appearances, but it's been a consistent presence since its introduction.
