Tauros Black 2 & White 2 Guide
In Black 2 & White 2, Tauros looks average on paper at 490 BST. But Intimidate is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier sweeper on our tier list. Earthquake with Life Orb is the standard set.
In Black 2 & White 2, Tauros's biggest threats include Machamp (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Tauros gets Intimidate, Anger Point, and Sheer Force. But Intimidate is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that. With base 110 Speed, Intimidate gives Tauros an edge before opponents can react.
Tauros is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 110 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. Fits the sweeper role.
For Black 2 & White 2, the core moveset is Earthquake, Zenheadbutt, Rock Slide, and Ironhead. Earthquake leads at 0% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
