Stats & Training
The stat bars tell the story: Defense carries everything and Sp. Atk's dead weight. But this Rock Peak Pokemon still yields 3 Defense EVs per fight on a slow 1.25M XP grind.
Regirock was sealed away by people long ago. If this Pokémon’s body is damaged in battle, it is said to seek out suitable rocks on its own to repair itself.
Regirock’s body is composed entirely of rocks. Recently, a study made the startling discovery that the rocks were all unearthed from different locations.
Regirock Weakness
Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground, and Steel moves hit Regirock for super-effective damage. The Rock typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Regirock's physical bulk (base 200 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.

Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire Regirock Best Moveset
Bulk and offense in one package. Regirock runs Assault Vest for a special bulk boost with no status moves allowed with a Adamant nature, so it survives long enough to threaten with Stone Edge. Flexible EVs and Ground coverage make it hard to safely switch into.

Regirock Guide
For the Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire meta, At 580 BST, Regirock is built different. We rank it B-Tier. As a Legendary Pokemon, the raw stats back up the reputation. Best used as a tank. Stone Edge with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, watch for Starmie (Water), Venusaur (Grass), and Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Regirock. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Ground and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter. Regirock has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Clear Body prevents stats from being lowered by other Pokémon. That's the one you want on Regirock. Sturdy is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses.
Regirock is a physical attacker with base 100 Attack. Tanky enough to absorb a few hits, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 50 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. Fits the tank role.
In Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, run Stone Edge, Earthquake, Drain Punch, and Icepunch on Regirock. Stone Edge is the most common pick at 23% usage. This set covers the tank role with a mix of damage and utility.
