According to legend, Regigigas pulled landmasses together and bound them with rope to create the continent of Hisui. Though I have my doubts, the story could well contain a shred of truth.

In Scarlet & Violet, Regigigas is a Legendary Pokemon rated B-Tier. At 670 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. Drain Punch with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Scarlet & Violet, Regigigas's biggest threats include Blaziken (Fighting), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. Regigigas has enough bulk to absorb a hit, but don't push the matchup. Pivot to a teammate that resists.
Slow Start is the go-to ability for Regigigas. It halves Attack and Speed for five turns upon entering battle. It's Regigigas's only ability.
In Scarlet & Violet, Regigigas fills the sweeper role. It's leaning toward the physical side (base 160 Attack). Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's tanky enough to absorb a few hits.
In Scarlet & Violet, the best way to handle Regigigas: Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
