While most trainers evolve Mienfoo into Mienshao immediately, the unevolved form has a niche with Eviolite boosting its defenses. Only weak to Flying, Psychic, and Fairy. Known as the Martial Arts Pokemon. The stat spread favors raw physical power.

The 50% bulk from Eviolite is no joke. Mienfoo takes hits that fully evolved Pokemon can't, especially with a spread EV build EVs pushing the fast physical side. Knock Off gives it offensive presence.
