Mr. Rime Guide

In Sword & Shield, Mr. Rime works as an attacker with 520 BST behind it. C-Tier on our list: a niche pick in Sword & Shield's meta. Freezedry with Focus Sash is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, Mr. Rime's biggest threats include Blaziken (Fire), Scizor (Bug), and Terrakion (Rock), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Ghost, Dark, and Steel-type attackers are also a problem. With 6 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Tangled Feet is the go-to ability for Mr. Rime. It doubles evasion when confused. Its hidden ability Ice Body can work in specific setups. Screen Cleaner is the other option. Pick based on what your team needs.
Mr. Rime is a special attacker with base 110 Sp. Atk. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 70 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. Fits the attacker role.
For Sword & Shield, the core moveset is Freezedry, Reflect, Fakeout, and Trickroom. Freezedry leads at 25% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.
