Ghost moves don't affect Miltank at all — that's the advantage of Normal typing. Sap Sipper absorbs Grass moves and boosts its Attack. Introduced in Gen 2. Clears the crowded base-100 Speed benchmark.
Bulk defines Miltank's stat line. Defense and Speed anchor the defensive side, but Sp. Atk can't keep up offensively. Tough to catch and worth 2 Defense EVs.
It is said that kids who drink Miltank’s milk grow up to become hearty, healthy adults.
Miltank Weakness
GoodFighting-type moves hit Miltank for super-effective damage. The upside? Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all. Thick Fat reduces Fire/Ice damage, further improving the defensive spread. Miltank's physical bulk (base 105 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
No evolution chain to worry about here. Miltank is a standalone Pokemon with no compatible partners for breeding through one egg group. Eggs come out average hatch time.
How to Evolve
Breed Miltank from the Ground egg group. Pass egg moves like Belch, Curse, Double-Edge and 5 more to offspring.
The recommended build leans into Miltank's strengths as a physical attacker. Muscleband provides extra utility, and max Attack and Speed EVs back that up. Scrappy rounds out the package.

Sap Sipper changes the entire equation for Miltank. The 490 BST doesn't tell the full story. Ranked C-Tier as a pivot.
Watch for Hitmonlee (Fighting) when using Miltank. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Only 1 weakness means fewer dedicated counters to worry about.
Miltank doesn't evolve and has no evolutionary line. It's a Normal-type Pokemon with a 490 base stat total.
Sap Sipper is what you want on Miltank. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. The alternatives (Thick Fat, Scrappy) work on paper but Sap Sipper is what makes Miltank worth using.
Base 100 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Miltank is a physical attacker with base 80 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a pivot.
