Ghost moves don't affect Miltank at all — that's the advantage of Normal typing. It clears the crowded base-100 Speed benchmark. Introduced in Gen 2. Known as the Milk Cow Pokemon.
Bulk defines Miltank's stat line. Defense and Speed anchor the defensive side, but Sp. Atk can't keep up offensively. Tough to catch and worth 2 Defense EVs.
Its milk is packed with nutrition, making it the ultimate beverage for the sick or weary.
If it has just had a baby, the milk it produces contains much more nutrition than usual.
Miltank Weakness
GoodFighting-type moves hit Miltank for super-effective damage. The upside? Ghost-type moves can't touch it at all. Miltank's physical bulk (base 105 Def) helps cushion physical weakness hits, but special attackers are the bigger threat.
- Dark and Steel types added — Fairy does not exist yet
- Moves are Physical or Special based on type, not per move
- Special stat split into Sp.Atk and Sp.Def
No evolution chain to worry about here. Miltank is a standalone Pokemon with plenty of partners for breeding through one egg group. Eggs come out average hatch time.
How to Evolve
Breed Miltank with 66 breeding partners from the Ground egg group. Pass egg moves like Present, Reversal, Seismic Toss to offspring.
The recommended build leans into Miltank's strengths as an attacker. Leftovers provides passive recovery each turn, and flexible EVs EVs back that up. An ability rounds out the package.

Don't skip the egg moves. Miltank picks up Present and Reversal only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Hyper Beam and Body Slam while coverage across 9 types adds range.
